Bellfield Organic Nursery - A Family Run Business |
|
|
We
are a family business, who have been farming organically for 15 years.
Grandad originally started farming on a small holding in Crieff with 6 acres
in 1954. In 1985 we had the opportunity to go organic as our fields had never
seen chemicals, in 1991 we also took on another 7 acres with tunnels at
Strathmiglo, supplying produce to the supermarkets. We have
now moved away from supplying the supermarkets and are now supplying you, our
customer, farmers markets and other box schemes. |

Our staff
consists of Irene (Mum), Derek (myself, son), our ever reliable van drivers,
Drew, John, David and Scott. Audrey, Anne and Jacqui in the pack house, and
answering any queries you may have about your delivery, Craig the main pack
shed man, our three goats and four dogs. In the busy time we have to take on
more staff for the ever enjoyable job of hand weeding and planting. We
produce all our own plants from seed, to the field and then to your door,
where there is no middle man the price can always be lower, but most of all
it is picked from our fields the day before delivery, which makes it FRESH,
HEALTHY AND MOST OF ALL VERY TASTY. We try to give you as much variety as we
can, and always remember you can phone and tell us if you do not like a
produce of some sort and we will replace it with |
